Shooting competition

To cheer up the students in the end of the first term, a shootng competition took part in the last two weeks of January. I had promised this event in my president platform. So shortly after the Christmas vacation, my right hand - Mr.Borisov (P.E. teacher at school), my left hand - Iveta, and I started planning, scheming and organizing the tournament. Just as we expected, there was an interest. 28 boys and 10 girls signed for the competition.
The tournament was organized in 3 rounds for the boys and 2 - for the girls. The initial ones and the finals. Every competitor had 5 training and 5 competitive shots and the sum of their competitive shots formed their result.

4 girls and 4 boys reached the finals. And you know what made me feel proud? The girls had higher final results than the boys did. I really am sorry for not being able to compete, but someone had to organize and control it. I had a lot of fun, though. My team and I managed to keep the enthusiasm and determination of the students who took part. Some were happy with their results, others - disappointed, but they all seemed to enjoy the shooting and the competition!

Club "Young Journalist": St.Valentines`day newspaper

The month of love is almost here. What do we have for St.Valentines`day? The love pebbles. But that`s not all. The editorial board of the school newspaper is working on a special surprise for the students. The St.Valentines` Day edition of the newspaper will be on paper! Love paper! Pale pink paper! We`ve put together some of the best love sayings of VIPs from all over the world and some of the most interesting facts about relationships in order to give a bunch of nice tips to those who need them and a pinch of romance to everybody. What`s more, this exclusive newspaper has a love-card included that just needs to be cut off, labelled with lots of love and given to the right person! I`m looking forward to sharing this little treasure with other people outside the board!

"International Hug Day" organization

Hello, there! It`s the International hug day. Did you manage to hug everyone today? Cause these two guys did! Well, of course, they needed some inspiration and that`s why they`re dressed like clowns. I came up with the idea of doing something interesting for this event few weeks ago, so I decided to rent some costumes and make sure everybody remembers this extraordinary day. A huge "Thank you" to the boys for letting me paint their faces and then getting them to hug everyone around the school. But I can tell that they had a lot of fun doing this. I hope they will be up for something simillar next year. Because I will surely be!

Club "Applies Arts": St.Valentine`s love pebbles

A new school campaign was run today for St.Valentine`s day. We`re now giving out love and kisses on pebbles. How many? 700. Seven hundred pebbles are to be inscripted and painted. I thought this to be a crazy idea, but I liked it. And the real fun came when we started decorating the pebbles. Hearts here and there, then some Chinese or Japanese symbols, then a kiss, or two, a little bit of "Love" and "Любов" and why not some "Te amo!" or "Je t`aime!". Yeah, this campaign brings the romantic side of us and it feels good knowing that somebody`s going to smile because of the pebble you decorated!

Sports club

Back to school after the loong Christmas vacation. And what do you think we need? Sport. Definitely sport. After all the food I ate during the holidays, it`s time for a little bit of training. And since we`re having a Sports exam tomorrow, we decided to go to the gym for an hour or so. I was not in the mood for playing volleyball or basketball and it was too cold outside for football, so I did some running and rope jumping. Then some hula hooping. Oh, that was good. It took me back to the days when hula hoops and ropes were some of the best things to do when playing outside...
