Visiting the Veliko Tarnovo Museum of Wax Figures

In February the first wax museum on the Balkan peninsula opened. There are figures of Bulgarian tsars, multimedia presentations and other recreations of the Medieval times in Bulgaria. This is one of those perfect places to dig into our country`s history and be pround of it. The wax versions of Tsar Kaloyan and Tsar Ivan Asen are impressive, as well as the old households and the traditional kitchen gadgets used by our ancestors. I am very glad we visited the museum, especially when the National Liberation Day of Bulgaria is just a few days away!

  

St.Valentine`s Day campaign at the District Administration of Veliko Tarnovo

We brought joy to the people working in the District Administration of Veliko Tarnovo this morning. As part of our St.Valentine`s Day campaigns, we gave each person a beautifully wrapped love pebble from the ones we made in the school workshop. We were politely greeted by the governor of the town - Mr.Pencho Penchev, so I had to give a short speech to the staff in return. I wished them to be better, to value the little things in life and be drunk on love every single day. It was a pleasure making those grumpy people smile in a day that is supposed to be filled with love and tenderness. A celebration full of emotions! Happy St.Valentine`s Day!

First CAS Meeting - Second Term

So here we are - second term. Five more months  full of creativity, action and service are ahead of us. We`re already on the start line, our planning pages are filled in. You never know what`s next, though, so we`re excited to dive into new adventures. Especially when the spring and the summer come along with the second term. It`s not gonna be easy, I`m sure of that. But it certainly is going to be interesting and challenging!

Club 'Applied Arts': St.Valentines` day mini bottles for an exhibition

Sometimes the best things in life come in small packages. So does the love. Give your beloved one a decorated love pebble or a small candle bottle and he/she will like it more than anything. Who needs expensive watches, jewells and all that when you have something this special!? Made for you and only you with lots of diligence and warm feelings. Those creative present ideas we come up with unexpectedly are the ones to impress and stay in mind  for a long time.
The "Applied Arts" club is having an exhibition next week at a local bookstore. People will have the opportunity to have a look at the beautiful things we created and even buy some of them.

Making diploms for the shooting competition winners

Well, the Shooting competition pariticipants worked hard to get the highest final results, so it`s time for us to give them what they deserve. The winners will be announced and awarded at a ceremony next week. Along with the presents that the weapons factory ARCUS Co. provides, the first, second and third place winners will be granted a diploma, proving their achievement. I really hope they like their prizes and our design for the diploma!
