Christmas Charity Prom

Well there was the next 'last thing' for me in this school - the Christmas charity prom. It was called 'A night of elegance' so most of the guys were wearing suits and all the girls were wearing dresses, except for me - I decided to bet on a more unusual outfit - I was wearing a suit, too. The overall atmosphere this evening was good, the script was quite well written and there were hardly any problems with the entertainment program. The catering was very good, too. There were two most exciting parts for me: when we, the IB, had to greet all the attendants and we led the Penguin Dance and the second one, the icing on the cake, was the moment they announced I was elected a Prom Queen of the Evening of Elegance. It was truly a surprise, I did not expect it to happen. So thanks to all my fans! <3

Christmas Charity Cooking Vol.2

This may not look tasty and all, but it was, actually. It is a caramel custard pudding in the form of a cake, because it has a cake base. Today we took part in the second edition of the school charity bazaar for home-made food. So I decided to make this fast, easy and delicious desert to make my classes contribution to the event. Compared to last year`s biscuit balls made by  Iveta and me and Velislav`s puffs, this one just pales, but we still managed to impress out schoolmates! :)

Club 'Applied Arts': Christmas pebbles

My last Christmas workshop ... I don`t know if I should enjoy it as usual or be sad about it being my last one. But anyways, I made a few pebbles like the ones for St.Valentine`s day, but the Christmas ones are bigger and decorated with the decoupage technique. There is a big variety of Christmas printed napkins now, so there wasn`t any difficulty with choosing a decoration. The pebbles are about to be sold at the annual Christmas charity bazaar just before we leave for our Winter vacation.

Participating at the Final Conference for the European Year of the Citizens - 3-5.12

This was a very rewarding experience. We had the chance to meet people of all ages that had all come to note the end of the European Year of the Citizens in the European comission`s office in Sofia. There were a few lectures about human rights, European comission`s activity, the future European Parliament elections, workshops, games and the best part - our theatre play. This is actually how we got invited to participate in the conference. The representatives of the European Info Centre, Europe Direct and the Human Resource Development Centre really liked our part of the thetre in Koprivshtica this summer and decided to invite us to this event to perform in front of the audience. I think we did a great job! Everyone liked us, applauded us and wanted more. We stayed in Sofia for two days and at the end of the conference, we were awarded certificates and a lot of positivity!
