Visit a theatre play: Kamen Donev`s monospectacle

I just came back from the most impressive event I`ve attended recently. Have you ever seen a single man, talking for two hours without a break .. in front of hundreds of people ... in the middle of a huge hall with all the spotlights on him. I have no words to describe what a talent Kamen Donev is! He is a Bulgarian actor, director, playwright and a choreographer born in 1971. But he is such a charizmatic person, full of vitality, full of hidden treasures. The monospectacle was called 'The views of a teacher over the general enlightenment' and was structured in 3 parts - education in an early age and primary education, secondary education and later education. Donev managed to keep the audience`s attention during the whole performance as he kept talking, acting, singing and dancing. At the end of all, I just felt the need to hug this person, to expre
ss my gratitude to him for sharing his talents and his views with the world, because judging by the unusual silence that came after he left the scene, he surely did reach our minds, our consciousness, our souls.

Baba Marta workshop

March is just a few days away. The female month! And the great Bulgarian celebration - Baba Marta on the 1st of March. We had to do martenitzi and I am glad I got this opportunity. My grandmother is a master in making martenitzi and she`s been dealing with this craft every year since I was a little child. So it`s kind of a legacy - she used to teach me some techniques in the past, but now that I live far from her, I hadn`t made any martenitzi in a while.  I felt good filling my mind with those pleasant memories while braiding the white and the red threads together today!

St.Valentine`s Day Celebration

Valentines Day. What a beautiful day. Roses. Hearts. Chocolates. Smiles. Hugs. Kisses. Love. Passion. Happiness. What`s not to enjoy today? It was a real surprise when Mrs. Petarcheva came to our classroom with a bunch of red balloons! I gave her a cat-baloon in return, haha, but it was sweet. Even if you are single, like I am, it`s amazing how positive you may stay during the whole day. The most important thing is - to have somebody to give a heart baloon to, someone to hug and someone to laugh with, that`s what friends are for! :) 

Club Fitness training

I had played volleyball, football, basketball, tennis, etc a million times, but I had never before trained in a fitness hall. Our school PE teacher made me a training program to keep fit for the upcoming prom: 15 minutes of treadmill, 15-25 minutes of stepper, then exercises for lower, mid and higher abs, for legs and for arms. It is good being in shape, even if you don`t train for losing weight - you must be fit. I still prefer running outside in the nature, but there is no other motivation like the one in the Fitness hall, seeing all the people work hard for themselves.

First CAS meeting for the fourth term

This is our last 'First CAS meeting'. It seems like yesterday that we attended our first one. Now we`re on the finish line. To properly end our CAS experience, we had to do our last Planning page and I can say it is quite diverse. We have St.Valentine`s day, Baba Marta, the Open Day at school and Easter ahead of us. And this will be accompanied by a few hours of sport activity and creative actions. I am very excited to see Kamen Donev`s monospectacle in the middle of March!
